The Studio
We back films that argue.
About
VMS is a small, filmmaker-led studio working out of East Los Angeles. We finance and produce a tight slate of features and documentaries from directors with a sharp point of view. We are not in the volume business; we are in the picture-by-picture business.
Manifesto
We back films that argue with the room. We don't chase formats, four-quadrants, or focus groups. The job is to put real pictures in front of real audiences and stand behind them. If the work isn't worth defending, we don't make it.

We read every query that lands here. Send a logline, not a screenplay — we cannot accept unsolicited full scripts.
Submission Policy
By submitting, you confirm the material is your original work and that this submission is a query only. We do not accept attachments, screenplays, treatments, or confidential material through this form. Anything similar to a project you submit may already be in development with us.
